Custodian of Five Oaks, an Historic Massillon Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places
Above is the Billiard Room festooned with roses for Edna's wedding. To the right is how the Billiard Room would normally look in the late 1800's. The window in the center overlooks the Dining Room. The arched doorway leads to the Great Hall. Panels in the vaulted ceiling open upward by a pulley system to allow air to circulate.
The beautiful rooms of Five Oaks held many wonderful events. Edna McClymonds' wedding reception was held at Five Oaks on October 25, 1900. The wedding party was seated in the Billiard Room with distinguished guests President McKinley and Secretary of State, Elihu Root.
